How quickly 2 weeks goes!

Not blogged for a while but have been really busy doing nothing!
Have done a few things for my doubling project and the total now stands at a whopping £25.58, which only leaves me £14.42 until I reach my next step. It seems now that the gap between the values is increasing which gives a psychological feeling of the steps becoming more difficult. But as long as you allow yourself enough time, try out as many ideas as you can and know that you will succeed then I'm sure we'll all pull through!
I have made the increase by doubling some with a friend, no questions asked, a small payment for services rendered (help with DIY) and finding money. I really need to start making use of the ideas that I have jotted down and get some experience with trading.
Over the past few months since I have started the doubling I have been reading a lot of wealth suggestion books and they are beginning to pay off. I have a belief developing deep in my subconcious that is making me look for wealth producing ideas and noticing a lot of opportunities for creating wealth, just need to start to put these into action.

Bye for now.

A quickie

Not much in the way of doubling over the past few days but a lot of ideas buzzing around my head. Did find some cash, well pennies (but they all count!) totalling to about 20p.

Have just read Stuart Goldsmith's The Midas Method and he tells in there how he set himself the challenge of doubling from £1 to £1000 in eleven weeks with only eleven hours work! Of course he did complete the challenge in the time allowed and with only about 30mins work time. Maybe this is where his original idea for the 'Double your way to a £Million' method came from.

The book is excellent and a must read for all those doublers out there and for anyone who wants to prime themselves for a richer and fuller future. The book shows the method Stuart devised to make himself successful and is both well written and presented.

Anyway, the point I make is that Stuart says in the laws of doubling that you double to the next step with the stake from the previous step and that all excess profits must be taken out. But in his example he finds 3 pounds, purchases some items for a friend and then makes a trade, this gives him his total of £1000+ but he has not taken the steps as the 'laws' state. But I guess that this probably occurred before he made the plan and laid out the laws. It does, however go to show that if we all set ourselves a target of a given amount, or step, and a given time, then we can achieve it. Good luck to us all and let Stuart be our mentor!

Chow for now!

Another day another post!

Hi everyone.

Just thought i'd expand on my first blog a bit.
I'm sure we all know what the doubling method is, but for those who do not, here is a break down:
Starting with nothing it would be possible to make over £1million in only 28 steps. Absolutely remarkable isn't it, to think it's that easy and we aren't all millionaires!
The method involves doubling your way up throughout the 28 steps, a sort of 100% compound interest calculation. But by only devoting your attention to the step you are at it makes the journey a lot easier and manageable.

I found the Doubling method whilest searching for wealth enhancing books online and it really got me interested. The method gives bite sized steps to a rather nice amount, but it would also give you a mass of learning and knowledge as you completed each step which would hopefully give you a better stance for the next step.
I really do recommend anyone reading this who may be interested to get the free ebook from Stuart Goldsmith and give it a go themselves and I look forward to meeting you in this cyber world!

Something else I found through my journey to a richer existance was the acid/alkaline diet. I know this is not much to do with doubling but I would seriously recommend it to anyone who wants to be fitter and healthier so you have more time and energy to spend all those millions when we finally make it to step 28! The information that this ebook gives you is paramount to a richer body and a healthier lifestyle and it really is an eye opener. I have found that I have more energy and a better body due to following the healthy eating tips it gives. So please take a look at it right now and see that it would be the right choice for you to take right now.

Not much in the way of doubling for today, however. I've just been jotting down a few ideas and taking a look in the local rags for some purchasing bargains. I have made it to step 13 just by finding money, surprisingly quite a lot, but I want to concentrate on using the stake to get to the next step and so I'll have to put my trader head on and go get reading those sales techniques books!!

Bye for now!

Monday 8th October

Start of a new week, start of a new blog!

Firstly a big hello to all the fellow doublers out there! It's great to be a part of this community and i feel honoured at accepting the challenge with you.

I have previously started Stuart Goldsmiths' Double Your Way To A Million and through my research on the internet have come accross other peoples blogs and the Doublers Den and thought that doing my own blog would keep me focused on the mission!

I started the challenge on 20/07/07 and currently reside at step 13 with £19.46 to go until step 14. The steps have been achieved from finding money in various places, a £2 win on a scratch card that was given to me as a wedding favour and a birthday gift that was unexpected and so went into the pot to help me on my way.

My plan is to get to step 14 by the end of this month and so I'm sure there'll be plenty of posts by me from now until then.

It's been nice to read how everyone else is progressing and getting ideas from those who have completed the steps I have yet to achieve. I hope that I can help the newbies and maybe add a little to the table for all the Vets!

Anyway, that's all for now. I'll keep you posted.......
